ARLINGTON TRANSIT

outreach, STRATEGY, DIVERSITY MARKETING, EVENT PLANNING, Video production

NeoNiche supports Arlington Transit (ART) through targeted outreach that increases awareness, builds rider confidence, and connects diverse communities with transit options that fit their everyday needs. Our work engages key audiences through bilingual, community-based outreach that makes transit easier to understand, access, and use. From introducing students to the Student iRide SmarTrip card to helping older adults navigate transit with confidence, we meet people where they are and create meaningful connections that encourage long-term transit use.

We’ve conducted outreach at over 120 ART community events, engaging in over 15,000 conversations with residents to help increase awareness of ART services and available mobility options. Ww also produced a five-part ART 25th Anniversary video series highlighting riders, frontline operators, maintenance staff, and administrative teams to showcase the people and community impact behind Arlington Transit.

PROJECT GOAL

Help more Arlington community members understand, and confidently use Arlington Transit (ART) services by addressing barriers, and providing the information and support they need to choose transit options that work best for their daily lives.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Arlington County Commuter Services (ACCS) encourages the implementation of Transportation Demand Management (TDM) initiatives in the county by promoting public transportation. The ART initiative promotes the maximum efficient utilization of existing public and private transit system, by supplementing Metrobus with cross-county routes as well as neighborhood connections to Metrorail. ART is environmentally friendly, operating on clean-burning compressed natural gas (CNG).
